Tubal Ring
The silastic band or tubal ring method, also known as a Falope ring, involves a doubling over of the fallopian tubes and application of a silastic band to the tube. This ring cuts off blood supply to the tissue and scar tissue forms and sometimes separates from the healthy portion of the fallopian tube to prevent pregnancy. This is a reversible procedure that can be done at our facility. Pregnancy success rates can also be very high with this method if only a small portion of the tube is damaged by the rings.
