Senior Embryologist
Christina Miao graduated from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. After graduation, she worked as internist in Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital. Then, Christina joined the research team of North Carolina State University, Department of Animal Science. Her most significant research training came under the late Distinguished Professor Dr. Clement Markert. During the years of research, Christina was involved in various research projects in the field of developmental biology, embryology, molecular biology, and quantitative genetics. She was recruited to embryology team of North Carolina Center for Reproductive Medicine/The Talbert Fertility Institute in February 2000. She is a senior Embryologist and Laboratory Supervisor. She is also an active member of American Society of Reproductive Medicine and American Association of Bioanalysts.
